TRAINING: DIGITAL MARKETING WORKSHOP
This program occurred in Nagar, Gilgit-Baltistan, in partnership with Ms. Huma Zilleh, as part of the Ms. Eliza Go's women empowerment initiatives. The workshop features an experienced guest speaker from the Philippines, Ms. Meryll Sarco, with 20 years of expertise in digital marketing, who currently serves as the Head of Digital Communications at an international organization in the Philippines.

The goal of this IT Bootcamp was to give young people or career shifters a glimpse of IT programming and use this training as an assessment for the path they are choosing. We wanted o help the participants who were new to IT by preparing the ground for their first steps.
Ms. Eliza Go is the Founder & CEO of DIDS (SMC-PVT) LTD., a small IT company based in Lahore, Pakistan. Originally from the Philippines, she came to Pakistan to expand her IT business and outsource IT resources for her clients in the Philippines.
While living here, she met several people and learned about the struggles of many women and less privileged individuals who lack the resources to educate themselves due to cultural and financial constraints. Moved by this, she felt compelled to start an initiative to help. She reached out to her IT business partners in the Philippines and discussed how they could empower women and the less privileged in their own simple ways, utilizing the simple resources available to them. Together, they came up with the idea of offering free digital trainings online. This initiative led to the creation of a FREE basic digital online trainings, aimed at helping those who are unable to afford IT/digital trainings in Pakistan.
With over a decade of experience as IT business owners and professionals in the Philippines, their goal is not to keep their success to themselves, but to use their skills, expertise, and resources to help less privileged individuals in Pakistan navigate their paths in the IT industry, be a blessing to them and offer valuable online resources and initial guidance as people work toward their professional IT goals.
